Hydropower

 Hydro plants convert (转变) the force of flowing water into electricity. Water flows through turbines (涡轮), causing the turbine shafts () to turn. The turbine shafts are connected to a generator (发电机) that converts the mechanical (机械的) energy into electrical energy.
